About Us

Organized in 1967, The Micromineralogists of the National Capital Area, Inc. is now incorporated as a  non profit micromounting club. We mount microscopic minerals and explore them through our microscopes. Our mission is to promote, educate and encourage interest in geology, mineralogy and related sciences.
